Well, this just sucks. 15 inches and counting in Olympia...and about 5 or so here in downtown Seattle. *sigh* Shaun, aka comeonfhqwagads  is going to attempt rescuing me after he gets off work in Kent... and we dun know how that's gonna go because even i-5 is a big rolling fucktank.  So.  I felt like crying about it on here, because there may be a small chance that I don't get to go home for Christmas.  MAJOR SUCKAGE!  Yes, I will use Buffy-speak and proudly.  Cuz this carries the scent of a major fail fest, because most of my friends that live in the dorms are gooooone.  And the ones that live outside the dorms live too far to traverse in this realllllyy shitty weather.  >.<  Damn snow.  You just had to ruin my winter break, didn'cha?

Okay, so Gasukan is coming up here real quick like and I dunno what to wear...I was trying to go for easy and Christmas-up something I already had, like wearing a Santa hat with my Duo costume...cuz that would be VERY warm, and VERY easy, and cost me like a dollar or something. XD

My other idea was a Ghetto Christmased-up Holy Roman Empire, but this one would be more difficult. Seeing as I have no red fabric, other than what I'm using for an Edward Elric jacket for a friend, and no more fuzzy white trim for I used most of that on Jeep. I have a wig for him at least, but that's about all.

My third grasping at straws was a closet cosplay christmas-y Temari. I've got her wig and headband, but her first costume would be COLD AS HELL! So I was gonna wear this dark blue tunic I have with some jeans, a fishnet top underneath, the headband and her wig. Put the belt over the tunic with a pouch. And MAYBE bring her fan of DOOM. But that would be annoying to carry to the Center. >.<

So in otherwords. I DON'T HAVE A GOOD IDEA!!!! HALP?!?!?!

Soooo, my weekend started off kinda evil. Went to bed at freakin' 12:30am Friday morning, then woke up at 5am so I could catch the 6am bus down to Lakewood then proceed to Olympia. Yeah, fun.

I got down there at around 7:40am-ish and waited for my Grandma to pick me up. Yay! That part was alright, I love my Grandma. ^.^ She had my cousins with her, and they, being young children, were acting as such and being too energetic for that early in the morning. But I dealt with them anyways. ^___^

O.o Anthony is getting pretty chubby tho. He's like 11 or 12 and he's waaaay short...and coming from me, that's scary. LOL! So he's growing horizontally instead of vertically. I swear, as soon as they came in the house it was "Let's watch the horribly dubbed Naruto!" Ugh, I laughed every time Sasuke talked. ROFLMAO! It was hilarious.

She took me over to my house after we dropped the kids off at school. Good thing too, since my sis hadn't woken up yet!!! O.o And it was 9am, she had to be to work at 10. LOL! So, I dropped her off at work and then did my errands. Almost ran outta monies...T^T But I didn't and have a bit left for this week.

Got home around 2pm after errands which weren't entirely successful. Fiddled around with the dye colors for Eigetsu's wig...didn't take any progress pictures D'oh! Picked my sister up at 3:45 from her job at Target. Fun times. Then she drove to a few places before we went home so I could start on the wig. >.> Oh gods.

The wig, horrid thing! Yeah, I didn't look at what kind of fiber it was made out of before I got it...>.< *head/desk* So it was a bitch to dye the way I found. I guess I could have used sharpies...but *shudders* that's a worse smell than rubbing alcohol. So I dyed it once and let it soak in the dye for well over 8 hours then I hung it up to dry after that, for like 11 hours to dry and it did. I washed it out today and stuff but it's still a bit streaky. >.< Grumbles. The froofy clips did just fine, but that's because they were made outta Kanakelon or whatever. >.< So it's drying again, and I won't be able to look at it again until Wednesday, so yeah...>.<

ON TO CHIBI CHIBI CON! Well, it was tiny, as the name states. Saw Michi there!!! YAY!!! <3's Me and my friends dressed as our X characters... OMG...they totally didn't wake me up early Saturday and OMG, I had to QUICKLY sew in a zipper and do a few hems and take it in to look decent before I could go with them...Thank gods it's only a mock up of the actual trench coat or else I'd be screwed. >.< Lots of unhemmed bits and safety pins and stuff. Yay...

Oooooh, look, its a journal entry. O.o Surprised? I should think so.

Ugh, so I guess I should give an update on how I'm doin', ne? Okay so I'll try and be organized about this. I might even put some pictures up with it too! LOL!

Work: Work is an evil bastard that doesn't give me much more than 6 hours a week. How fucking' lame is that. It's like, I'm only scheduled on Thursdays anymore and we only work until 12am if we're LUCKY. *grumbles* I am not having fun with that. Enough monies for food, but not for my cosplay obsession. LOL!
But all is well in the world. Since I don't actually graduate until Winter of 2009(that means sometime in March)I decided to throw down an application to be a RA here in THE LENORA dorms for the Art Institute. Yeah, kinda lame, but it's a 400$ a month, guaranteed job. And I feel confident enough about my role as a Senior type person to be a good RA. I like people, and people generally like me. So I wanna give it a shot. ^___^ Wish me luckzorz. Hee hee.

School: School is doin' ALOT better actually. I've raised my GPA back up to a 3.0 from a 2.5, *sighs happily* and for that I'm eternally grateful! LOL! This quarter is okay, lots of General Education classes tho. Anatomy, General Science and Speech. Gah, I hate speech. But my next and final speech is gonna be about Cosplay. So I guess nothing about that is bad at all!!! ^_______________^ There's only like two other people in the class that know what cosplay is so I feel good doin' a speech about that. *dances* I made Radioactive Cupcakes for my General Science Class, cuz I have to do a little infomercial speech on why earth dwellers should use Nuclear power. LOL! Rainbow sprinkle cake mix FTW, topped with neon yellow icing. YAY! Food! I hope everyone likes them. hee hee.


Cosplay: OH GOD, the sewing to be done. Not to mention I have to DYE A WIG! They just don't come in this color:

So I have to do the fun FW acrylic ink way of dying. Katie Bair's dyes cost too much to achieve that color...>.< *dies* This way it only cost me like $25. *score* My Karen wig is happy. I <3 it so hardcore. My grandma helped me curl it, and it took like 2 hours.

But it came out super cute and it's probably my favorite wig after Goku and Hunny. LOL! Eigetsu's might be up there too, cuz all I have to do to it after it's dyed is put it in a low pony tail. FTW!
As far as actually completing things...I think Hisoka is the one I have completely done. I suppose if I'm bored enough, I'll paint the sneakers, but meh. They don't need it. LOL! His was the easiest costume I think I've ever done. ALL of it was store bought, and the only effort I did was styling the wig...which survived a day outside in windy Seattle goodness. O.o *dances*
I still need to paint nyoibo and put the end bits on it for my Goku costume. I'm the most stoked about being Goku out of all my other cosplays. Although Karen is getting up there.....>.> I dunno why, I'm just not as psyched about Saiunkoku as everyone else is...T^T *le sigh* I'm even going to the trouble to make Gojyo a cigarette pack of hi-lites hee hee. This way he doesn't loose his fake ciggies. LOL! Finding a real picture of the packaging for those was a bitch tho!! At least I found a template for making my own cigarette package. *happy monkey dance* I also REALLY wanna make Sanzo a gold card. But she hasn't messaged me back yet. hee hee.
I do need to sew together Karen's' trench coat still...but that can wait till like a week before the con. I may have to reconsider using fo-leather, but I really want to. >.< I have the rest of her outfit, the tights, shoes, eyelashes, contacts, wig and makeup. I just have to remake my Mikael earring and I'm good to go on that. LOL!
Ooooh, my super secret cosplay isn't going very fast and I really need this one person to get online so I can try to meet up with her to get fabric. >O< I started constructing the plushie for this cosplay, and I'm planning out the goggles and shoes. I just need the fabric!!!

So, this weekend has been interesting...

A friend I met at Sakura Con, Daniel, came up from Portland on friday and I let him crash on my living room floor for a night. Tonight he's allllll Miriams...and thank god. I think the poor boy has a crush on me...O.O Which I do not acknowledge. That and the fact that him AND Miriam were both being very perverted in all the time I spent in their company I was overjoyed *cough*sarcasm*cough* to hang with them. Yay... All I can say is that I'm glad he lives in Portland. I do have to go say bye to him tomorrow before he catches his train back to Portand, but yeah... Gah, Miriam needs to stop trying to shove him at me...It's been driving me nutters the past two days. I do not like him whatsoever! I have Shaun...not permanently, but enough that I'm not looking!!! GAH!!! Besides....other than the fact that he's a gamer nerd, he really isn't my type...*shudders* he's extremely furry....*shudders* Guys just shouldn't wear shorts if they have hair that long on their legs....*shudders*

Now onto good things. I saw RENT tonight and it rocked like none other!!! ZOMG I heart going to see musicals. *does happy dance* And to top it all off, the guy who plays Roger looks like a British Rocker...LOL!!! Me and Cyrus did our happy dances in our seats, after he quit trying to sound American. LOL!!!! T_T The Angel they had wasn't nearly as good as the original, but he made up for his not good singing, with tons and tons of hyper dancing and cuteness!! Squee! Mark looked like, well Mark. It's hard to not be Mark... Hearing all the songs sung by real people down on stage was like, way better than watching a movie or listening to a CD, way way wayyyyyyy better. And Cyrus has me wanting to see Phantom of the Opera when it comes around to the Paramount again...>.> Well, yeah. I will only ever be able to afford two Con's a year if I start going to Musicals....LOL!!!

Heh, I should post more....*thinks about it* naw. That would require me to be not lazy. LOL!

So this weekend was pretty neat overall. My weekend kinda starts on Thursday, and I went home cuz I had a dentist appointment on Friday morning >.<. But it was okay. North Thurston High had a musical opening on Thursday night so I got to see it, YAY! Brigadoon. It was interesting...and three spectacular actors made it amazing. One of 'em had the Scottish accent down pat, and the other two were just amazing actor/actress'. So $8.00 and two hours later...a few laughs were had at Brysons' expence and applauding was well deserved. YAY! Dryte went with me so it wasn't a total bust. ^-^

Friday...had to get up hella early so I could make it to the Dentist by 9:20am...blargh...then I went with my mom to see if I could get a new cellphone at the Cingular store, and we decided to try online cuz I can prolly get one cheaper and whatall...phooey...gotta waits longer to get me a RAZR...>.< After that I went over to Target and got the Pokemon Pearl/Diamond guide book and a Blueberry Pretzel at Food Ave, and hung with Dryte for the last 10 minutes of her lunch. YAY!. Then I went back to my Grandmas' house to get ready to come back up to Seattle. Wheeeeeee. Got home around 4pm, cuz I have to walk from 4th and Union alllll the way to 2nd and Lenora...blargh...the bus doesn't come any closer than that. Work was weird that night, cuz the store hardly got shopped and we were outta there at like 11-something...and we were stalling...O.O It was all good, cuz I got up so early...>.< Still stayed up till 1am-ish cuz I wanted too.

Saturday was another early wakeup day..>.< 8am...cuz Friday night I decided to go see Shaun YAY! So I had to catch the bus to Kent Sounder Station at 10:11am over on 5th and Stewart. Plus side? I now know how to get to Southcenter! HAH! So took that bus to Kent, then another bus from Kent to Covington... I got to mainstreet Covington around 11:40am so not too horrible of a bus travel. WAAAAY cheaper than having Shaun pick me up/take me home. $1.25 there, $1.25 back. Cheaper than a gallon of gas, that ish the way to go. And now that I know how to get there, I will do so more often! YAY! *huggles Shaun* So, I got there and then him, his brother and I all went bowling! And I actually broke 100! I think I got 122 on the first game and then I didn't do as well the second game cuz my fingers started to hurt, so I only got a 93 I think...something like that anyways....>.<

Thennnn, we went back to Shauns' house and played some Pokemon. Tee hee! When his mum and brother left to go to the store we had a little fun. *giggles* Then we went back downstairs and watched some Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends. Then some Fairly Odd Parents. ^-^ I ate tacos there for dinner which was nice cuz then I didn't have to worry about getting home in time to eat something before rushing off to work. Shaun drove me to Kent Station so I caught the 7:15pm bus to Seattle...which sucked monkey balls, cuz it was uber crowded...T.T And I got stuck sitting next to a smokey smelling old lady...ick...Got home around 8:15pm had time to take a breather before heading into work, which was a disaster...gah...had to do eeeeverything at work, cuz it was like a bomb went off...or just a bunch asians came in and fucked the whole store up...O.o Lots of remerching and stuff goin' on. New shelves and more clothes brought out....gah....Got out around 3:30am....>.< Not fun. I am sooooo glad that my day was so nice, cuz that night sucked uber.

Sunday...slept in till 1pm...holy crap! I never do that, it was crazy...O.O Did some laundry as I worked on some pictures for one of my coworkers...had to draw him 4 people...easy peasy and I even gots paid for it...only $10 bucks, but meh, it only took up about an hour of my time. Annnnd I got a hug too. ^___^ Made me fee useful. Woot! He said something about the project they were needed for was 1/3 of his grade, and he's not an artist, so I accepted the challenge! HA HA I laugh in the face of danger wooT!. Finished those up right before work at 7pm. Got my ass there, and learned it was inventory night...eeeew. So we counted, pulled tags out....then let the counter monkeys wreak havoc, then had to make the store shoppable....>.< At least we got out of there at 12:30am, coulda been worse! And now I'm gonna go to bed.

I'm not sure what sparked my jounal inspiration tonight...but I just felt like typing out my neat weekend. The highlight of which was Saturday and spending most of the day with Shaun...YAYness. Now bed and wakeing up at 8:30 or 9 to draw some more and color for my class. woot. >.< not.

Hey all, I'm having a fantastic weekend *insert sarcasm* Well, it started out good and normal, getting up at 6am so I could go in early and take a test at work. Required stuff and all that rot. Then I worked my required 5 hours...then got stuck there for another 40 minutes, when I should have been off at 1 I got done much later and had to run around like a chicken with my head cut off to get everthing I needed to get done, done before that evening.

Turns out Mikey couldn't go with us cuz he got sick so we didn't have to bother my sister to make him into a zombie :( So me and Miriam hung out and went all gung-ho on our makeup and stuff. I coulda made her look a bit more outrageous, but I felt like being kind, so I made her look like a stylish angel thing, instead of a slutty angel thing. Woot! Thank god my costume rocks and is easy to get into. It's the makeup that was a bitch. Latex Prosthetics are awesome looking, but take forever to apply right...>.< So me being a vampire in gameface and Miriam being a Angel/demon, we went to the Rutledge Corn Maze and Haunted Maze. It took us roundabouts 2 hours to find our way through the two mazes, before waiting in line for a half hour for the Haunted one... I have to admit it was good, though there were one too many strobe lights and it totally fucked with my vision. Blah, not to mention making Miriam pretty much blind...>.< So she had a death grip on my shoulder through it, which only tightened when the dude with the chainsaw came up behind us...me I just wandered casually through the maze, grinning with my own scary face at the "Scary monsters" I laughed when the little pre-teen girls that went in with the group behind us caught up to us, damn can they scream!!! O.O My bloody eardrums burst when the bints screeched in terror, music to my ears, but did they have to be so buggering loud?

So that was the highlight of my weekend, I'll get pictures of my costume posted at some point...T_T I dunno when Miriam plans on sharing the ones she has and I have to wait for my mom to get back from Vegas to get the others...>.<

Saturday went well, slept in until 10 YAY then had to burn music and whatnot for my cousins' birthday/halloween party. Turns out the party started at 3 and we hadn't finished the freakin' haunted house yet...O.o Fuck. So I beat tracks and made it over there at 1:30, hid in the haunted house and continued to decorate, although I was too short to reach any of the important bits, so I just put some more spider webs and stuff up...>.< Then the rest of the day went as well as possible with 7 small children running around causing a ruckus...I was wiped. Least I got food outta it. mMMMMM pizza.

Damn daylight savings freakin' put me into a whak this morning when I woke up...heh I thought I worked early, but I didn't, I go to work at 1. WOOT So some relaxing time this morning. Yay. I should clean stuff...hmmm....

Yeah, I'm a looser, so I don't have any cool halloween parties to go to or anything. The highlight of my halloween weekend was going to a maze. Hah, and then on Halloween I'm going into school and doing homework. How freakin' awesome is that? Oh well. See you people again mebbe. Posting isn't my biggest perrogitive, so it doesn't happen unless I'm bored. ^_^;;;

So I got myself a damn expensive compy for schoolwork and whatnot. I'm very VERY pleased. My grandma and grandpa bought it for me. I think total it cost something like $2,500 or so. The PC itself cost a little over a grand, then I had to get all kindsa stuff for it, a nice Samsung 17" monitor, a DVI cable for it, a new graphics card ala 7900 NVidia gaming, and a new 430Watt powersupply cuz the graphics card used more than 300Watts. >.< I still even have to buy speakers and a subwoofer for it!!! O_O This baby is gonna last a while I hope.

With Erin's help I got Maya 7.0 on it today!!! Yay, add that to the 500GB Hardrive, and 2GB RAM, I've got one powerfull machine, that I can render on!! WOOT! So, I'm happy for once and with Halloween coming up I'm getting even more psyched up.

Sadly I don't officially have classes on Tuesday the 31st, but that can be solved with me going in to do homework all day, and perhaps hang in the animation lab, and if no one's using a station work on my Angels. Hmmm... Other than that I need to to my AutoCAD homwork. I was considering dressing up, I may leave the vampire forehead prosthetic at home, cuz I dunno how the bus driver would react to me wearing it on the bus...? That just means I can get the white hair spray and go to town with the being glow-in-the-dark radioactive hair status. *shrugs* Most of ya'll have already seen my leather duster, but I got myself of kick arse motorcycle boots from Hot Topic that I'm gonna wear, not to mention I'm gonna scour Value Village and Goodwill for a red or blue long sleeved button up silk shirt.... Ah, my compression shirt, how I will loathe thee after mine day is done. Anyways, I'll take pictures and figure out how to post 'em on this or just stick 'em on my DA account.

So, I'm currently looking for an apartment in Seattle, that'll be ready around the end of December and/or early January. I'm hoping for one at this awesome place called The Shelby. www.theshelby.com I'll have an entire apartment all to myself for just 860$ a month, that's nice compared to the 1300$ that the school was charging my financial aid...860$ is a happier number for my loans. WOOT! I'm excited. I'll have my own place!!!

I'm kinda fed up with being back home already. Sick and tired of it actually. I'm done, I'll come home for major holidays and thats it. Finito with living at home. No freedom and I've got absolutely no one to hang out with down here in Oly. All my friends are at school and at least in Seattle I'll be close to 4 of 'em. And all my Art Institute buds!!! ^____^ I just can't wait!!!

My mom's trying to stall me, by raising what money I have to pay her of the loans she took out, that she could have put on hold to repay till after I graduated, but no, so it'll seriously cut into my paycheck when I move back to Seattle. Damnit!

I'm hoping to have two jobs when I get back up there, my old one at AiS in the Education Services room and then a new one (hopefully) at Erin's old workplace Lavender Blue in Pikes' Place. As long as I find a source of income for food all will be well in the world.

Breaking News: I will be goin' ta Disney World, finally, the first week of January. I can't wait!!! WOOTAGE!

Okay, so I woke up feeling uneasy, like I was forgetting something, something a tiny bit important. Yeah, day goes by normally, I start feeling worse and worse... Then i decided to take a stroll down memory lane and hurt my heart a little more by remeniscing about last summer and the fun I had with my first boyfriend. Took a break from that after I started to get upset. Watched some Law & Order on TV with my mum. Came back to my room and started to talk to my friend Miriam and BAM it hit me like a brick what I was forgetting.

A year ago today I aquired my first boyfriend, and I swear I remembered at the exact time and everything... My heart decided to do its happy little flip flop and fall down dead routine and I got all choked up. Thank heavens I was talk to Miriam on AIM and not on the phone or else I would have made an even bigger fool of myself. AWESOME.

So there goes another apparently very depressing day for me. And have I mentioned I'm having problems with my Cultural Theory class? I just don't get the questions. ARGH.

Alrighty then. I managed to get myself a car finally. YAY! Obtained it last Monday for $2,023.35 a 1989 Honda Accord LXi with a sunroof and new cd stereo. Good stuff, it runs a little loud for my tastes but it is a Honda.

I'm really disappointed that I don't have enough money to fix my Rabbit though, I was really looking foreward to a convertible with the weather we're having currently. *sigh* I guess I'll live.

Got it the 3rd of July, cuz I really needed transportation to Seattle for the 4th to hang with Erin and Ana and some others. That's an entirely different story which will come in a bit.

On the way to Shoreline, I got cut off about a half dozen times, which NEVER freakin' happened in my Subaru...>.< Everyone on the road seemed to want to take out my front left corner...I swear they were intent on doing so. Then I come back and thank god there weren't too many people on the road and no one almost got me again. Yeesh... But on Thursday when I went to the Farmers Market down here in Oly, some Jackass in a blue chevy mini SUV thing almost took out over half of my car cuz he wanted over. Pain is the ass drivers who can't get into the lane the need to before they have to turn.....*grumbles*

So now for the 4th. Erin summed it up pretty good in her post in my Friends area... But I got a FREAKING BIG SUNBURN!!! T_T It's finally just now starting to turn into a tan....and it itches like crazy, so far so good though cuz it's not peeling! YES! But now I have to find a way to even out all the crazy tanlines I have from wearing multiple different shirts then getting sunburns. I've had a total of like 5 so far this summer, all in pretty much the same place. Gah, I wish I'd just tan instead. I don't even turn a good shade of brown it's kinda a reddish brown colour. Drives me nuts! OH well. At least I'm not pasty white anymore!

Okay, so looks like cuz it's summer I'll have more time to write journals...hmmm what an interesting development. Hopefully I'll have time to write some fanfiction too. God I miss that.

And yes, for the past week I've been sick, it kinda sucks, but it's slowly going away, for which I am grateful!!! I want to go to one of my friends' going away parties on Sunday and I dun want anyone to catch this nasty coughing crap I've got. So hopefully I'll not be contaigous by then and more healthy like. I wanna run around dammit!!!

Tomorrow I'm going to retrieve my car, a 1983 Volkswagen Rabbit Convertible, black of course, from my Grandma's house. ^__^ We're gonna load up some of the Camaro parts in the car and in my mum's car, cuz someone got into the garage...>.> >.< *growls* I wonder if they got stung by the wasps too...hmmmm

Well, mebbe if the BBQ on Sunday goes horrible or something I'll write another journal. But who knows, they'll prolly be random stuff. YAY.
